I’m Max Cope — a filmmaker, music composer, sound designer, photographer, and visual storyteller.
But above all, I’m someone who has always lived in the space where imagination becomes reality.
Music and images have been with me for as long as I can remember. They are the languages through which I understand the world and express emotions — and emotions, to me, are what make life meaningful. As I often say: “In my work, creative flair and professionalism are two things that cannot be separated.”
This balance is the foundation of everything I create.
With a background that spans from classical music studies at the Conservatory of Pesaro to a degree in Media Arts and Technologies, I’ve spent decades exploring how sound and image interact. Whether I’m composing a soundtrack, directing a film, designing motion graphics, or shaping the emotional arc of a video, I always approach each project with the same philosophy: imagination first, technique second.
My career has taken me from composing for major broadcasters like RAI, Universal Music, and BMG, to creating multimedia experiences for cultural institutions, to producing award‑winning short films and music videos. I’ve worked as a filmmaker, sound designer, graphic designer, educator, and creative consultant — but the common thread is always the same:
I transform ideas into emotions, and emotions into experiences.
I never stop imagining.
I never stop creating.
And I never stop getting emotional.
